I thought that this article was very useful, and very informative. It talked about how to avoid more complicated ways of using photoshop for example when you wanted to create a simple background you should use the standard magic wand tool, so you can select and delete the background it would be more adequate. It also talks about what you should use for more compelcated, and advanced backgrounds. The article talked about how it would be best recommended to use the eraser tool, rather than the standard magic tool. What I really liked about the article was that it showed you step by step on what to do, and it also went really in depth. Another thing that I found great about this article was that they provided images, and showed exactly what they were doing. 
I thought that the video was, as well very useful, because the video really went into detail about how, and why you are supposed to use the different tools. I think that I might have liked the video more than the article because you could hear the video, and you could get a more clear idea about what they are doing because the video and the audio are both right in front of you.
