I think that this image is successful because it is getting shot from the point of someone's feet. It is at a very good angle and what also makes it great is the fact that it is taken from where the bike wheel is coming off of the box. The fact that the image is back and white and that the bikes are old, and have rusted give it an old fashion vibe to the image. I also like that there are multiple bikes instead of just one. The brick wall also give this image an old and alone vibe to the whole image itself. What I really like about this image is that it is getting shot though the bike wires, and it leads your eyes to the other bikes and the ones in the back, of the image. I think that this image was very well capture from the angle to the choice of color, and placement of the bikes. The location is another great asset to the image.
